Biography:
William has taught ES2201 (Law & Economics, Sustainability, and Environmental Protection) at ASE since 2015, and before that was a Senior Lecturer in NTU's Division of Economics (2011-2014) teaching Law & Economics, Cost Benefit Analysis, and Environmental Economics.
He came to Singapore in 2011 to help create the Sustainable Earth Office (SEO) to lead NTU's Sustainable Earth Peak (2011-2015) and Sustainable Earth (2016-2019) initiatives. From 2011 to 2019, William as Deputy Director developed, led, or managed all of SEO's major sustainability initiatives and projects as part of a small team that also included a part-time Chair (Director) and administrative support staff. As planned, SEO closed in 2019, and William continues to play a consulting role at NTU in the creation and planning of the university's new sustainability projects.
William is a consultant, lawyer, and entrepreneur who has worked for more than 20 years in sustainable economic development and environmental protection.
