The NTU alumni community of more than 265,000 graduates in over 160 countries have made amazing achievements and impact in their respective fields. These range from groundbreaking research to the founding of successful firms behind cutting-edge products and services.
Many of our alumni are actively involved in the University's activities, where they volunteer their time and expertise to mentor students, organise events, serve on the Alumni Council and foster alumni ties in the respective alumni associations. They have also contributed towards supporting NTU's students, programmes, research and pedagogical endeavours.
Your ties with NTU do not end at graduation. The University takes pride in your success and shares in your aspirations. The robotics trainer
MAE alumnus Dr Hung Pham, co-founder and CTO of Eureka Robotics, was named one of the Top 10 Vietnamese CTOs by VnExpress. Hung describes his journey from researcher to CTO and how his start-up is aiming to help people do more with less using technology.
Hitting a dream home run
Lionel Chia grew up supporting American Major League Baseball team, the Cleveland Guardians. Today, the NIE alumnus is living his dream and works closely with Guardians’ star players like Jose Ramirez and Shane Bieber as a strength and conditioning coach.
Reaching new heights in space
Dr Mark Lim’s space-tech start-up Aliena, an NTU spin-off, recently launched into space a nanosatellite fitted with a fuel-efficient engine that it has developed, and now has its sights set on flying its very first VLEO imaging microsatellite in 2024.
